As we start a new year, the team at assemblyHUB would like to thank you for all the support in the past 3 months. To say the least, it has been overwhelming and we are humbled by what the Lord is doing.

We didn’t expect 6000 visitors and over 28,000 page views on the website. We didn’t expect almost 1000 likes and over 45,000 post views on Facebook. But more than these stats are the dozens of emails, Facebook messages and even phone calls that have come in to share support in this work.

As we look to the Lord for what he plans to do with assemblyHUB, we want to share a few things that we have in the works for 2015.

Non-profit status

We are in the process of registering assemblyHUB Ministries as a non-profit organization in the US. We should have final status within a few months. This will allow us to issue tax receipts for those who wish to support the ministry financially. We look to the Lord’s people to help us as we take on more projects.

Daily devotional

Starting today we are launching a daily devotional. These are short meditations each day of the week and are written by the assemblyHUB team members.  Head over to assemblyhub.com/dailyHUB/ to check out our first devotional by Crawford.  You can also subscribe to the devotionals to your email each day by filling out the form on the right sidebar.

Conferences and events

In a few weeks we will be hosting our first event on Mental Health.  Head over to assemblyhub.com/mentalhealth for more information. For those in Southern Ontario or Western New York there is still time to register.

In May we will be heading to Ottawa, Ontario for a weekend conference discussing issues surrounding the internet (as Why We Web) and also assembly related topics. We look forward to what the Lord will do that weekend as we seek to challenge the believers.  If you would like to have us come to your assembly for a conference, seminar or youth event, please contact us for more details.

We also have some 1 day workshops for elders planned for the Spring. Dates are yet to be determined and we will give notice once details are finalized.

Mobile app

We have plans on building a mobile app which will pull in the blog posts, daily devotionals and events map right to your mobile device.  Look for more information in the coming months.

HopeStreamRadio

assemblyHUB is happy to be working with FBH International to provide weekly radio segments on their new internet radio station. The vision of HopeStreamRadio and assemblyHUB are very closely aligned and we look forward to providing relevant content that will benefit assembly believers.

Closing thoughts

We look forward to what the Lord is going to do in 2015. Maybe this year will be His soon return to take us all Home. If not, we press on with His people on our hearts. The church is as precious to us as anything else in the world and we long to see His people united, active in service and focused on a relationship beyond all others – with the eternal God of glory.

If you would like to help us, here are some ways:

  1. Really, we mean it. Pray for assemblyHUB. Prayer is like air. We need it to breathe.
  2. Tell others about assemblyHUB and pass on our articles, events and projects.
  3. We love to hear feedback. Encouragement, criticism (in love), and suggestions are welcome.
  4. Write an article for us. We have a team of editors who can help if you need.
  5. Like mentioned, we will soon be able to issue tax receipts. It takes time, effort and yes, funds to make some of these projects a reality.

Thanks again for all the support and we look forward to working together in the new year for His glory.
